Happy Easter, everyone! Today we celebrate (for the 1,990th time!) the day when our Lord and Savior burst open the gates of Hades and demonstrated to us the hope we have to be made into sons of the Most High, radiant like the Sun! Easter is my favorite of the traditional Christian holidays since it represents something truly worth celebrating. Yes, the Incarnation was wonderful, yes, Pentecost was great, but the Resurrection represents the culmination of Jesus’ life, ministry, and the millennia of history leading up to Him. It is on a whole other level.
For Easter this year I wanted to do something special to commemorate it, and I thought there was no better way than to do what I love most: nerding out! Well, that’s to put it quite simplistically. What I exactly have in mind is a series of articles, one that will begin next Sunday and last until the fifth Sunday (i.e., the Sunday before Ascension Day, May 18). This series will have an apologetic focus, with each installment focusing on one of five proofs for the Resurrection. It’ll serve as a good way to honor the holiday, and in the future it’ll serve as a library/reference material for a student of the Bible (or a faith-seeker!)
These five articles will be sourced from all the apologetic material I’ve amassed over time. I will make their data as up-to-date, and I will make the arguments as strong as I can without overdoing myself. The five planned installments are as follows (and each will be linked to in the future, as they come out, for ease-of-access):
Do You See What I See?
Of Vanishing Angels and Multiplying Women
Jesus the Friendly Ghost?
